American Health Associates, Inc. is a fully licensed and insured clinical reference laboratory founded in October of 1990. Our corporate headquarters and main testing facility is located in the Ft. Lauderdale area with additional testing sites in Tampa/St. Petersburg, and Spartanburg, South Carolina. We service most areas in Florida through our extensive network of conveniently located patient service centers. Our current client base is made up of physicians, hospitals, drug rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, community health clinics, skilled nursing homes, and assisted-living facilities; in addition to clinical trials for FDA approval of medications.
Although we provide services to an array of health-care entities, our true strength is our knowledge of, and ability to service skilled facilities with the utmost quality and professionalism. Servicing over one hundred thirty facilities in Florida and the Carolinas, makes us one of the largest providers of laboratory services in the nursing home arena. We accomplish this task by employing over seventy phlebotomists and some of the most proficient, licensed technical staff in the industry.
Laboratory results are delivered to all clients via our new web-based product that offers interfacing capabilities to most office/facility-management, (PMS), systems.
